Discounts & Promotions

How do I apply a discount code?

If you received a discount code through one of our promotions, enter it at checkout.

On mobile, tap “Show order summary & discounts” at the top of the page to reveal the discount field.

After applying your code, please review your updated subtotal. Your new total may change free-shipping eligibility or other promotion thresholds.

Why does my discount code not apply to certain bundles?

Certain bundles are already priced with built-in savings. For this reason, additional discount codes cannot be applied.

Shipping

Important: Please review your shipping address before checking out.

Once an order is submitted, we have very limited ability to make changes. Incorrect addresses may delay delivery.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

We currently have limited ability to make address changes once an order is submitted. If we are able to update the address on your behalf, please note that these changes may not appear in your shipping confirmation email.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not currently offer international shipping. We are actively reviewing new options with our carriers and hope to expand soon.

What should I do if an item is damaged during transit?

Inspect your package right away. If anything is damaged, email orders@harlembrands.com with photos within 7 days so we can assist you quickly.

For added peace of mind, we strongly recommend adding CORSO Shipping Protection at checkout.

What is CORSO Shipping Protection?

We’ve partnered with CORSO Package Protection to offer optional coverage for lost, stolen, or damaged packages. It’s automatically added at checkout, and you can remove it if you prefer, just note that we’re unable to replace missing or stolen packages without CORSO coverage.

Once your order ships, tracking and final delivery are in the hands of the carrier. CORSO ensures that if anything happens in transit, you’re fully covered. You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your order leaves our fulfillment center.

Who are your shipping providers and transit times?

All orders ship from our fulfillment center in Edison, NJ (08817). We primarily ship with FedEx, which allows us to secure excellent rates and pass those savings on to you.

FedEx Ground Economy (Standard & free shipping for packages under 15 lbs)

  • East Coast: 1–2 business days
  • South & Southeast: 2–3 business days
  • Midwest: 3–4 business days
  • Southwest & Mountain: 4–5 business days
  • West Coast/Pacific NW: 5–6 business days

FedEx Home Delivery (Standard & free shipping for packages over 15 lbs)

  • East Coast: 1–2 business days

FedEx 2Day (Delivered within 2 business days from the ship date)

  • Orders placed before 11:00 AM ET ship the same day.
  • Orders placed after 11:00 AM ET ship the next business day.
  • For example: If you order Monday at 3 PM, it ships Tuesday and arrives Thursday.

Returns

How do I initiate a return?

At Harlem Candle Co., every item is inspected before shipping. Because of the nature of our products, used candles and products cannot be returned, and perfumes are final sale. We are happy to replace or refund any item damaged in transit with photo proof within 7 days of delivery.

You may return unused products within 14 days of purchase. Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. We do not offer exchanges at this time.

To Start a Return

  1. Email orders@harlembrands.com within 14 days with your return request and the reason for the return.
  2. Once approved, we’ll send your Return Authorization number and return address. (Please do not ship returns to the address on your shipping label.)
  3. Pack items securely using the original packaging (or similar protection) and keep your tracking number.

How can I extend the life of my candle?

Upon receiving your package, ​please​​ bring it indoors​, open the box and store all of your products upright​. This simple step helps shield your items from freezing or melting in the winter and hot summer months.

The first time you burn your candle, let it burn until the entire surface layer of wax is melted. After burning, trim the candle wicks to ensure that any ashes and burnt sections are thoroughly removed.

What are the candles made of?

Each candle is specially handcrafted using top grade soy vegetable blend wax and our Botanical Collection is made using a top grade coconut-soy blend wax.  We use these proprietary blends because they provide an excellent cold and hot fragrance throw and give the candle an even burn. All of our candles have a cotton fiber core wick. Our candles are non-toxic, Paraffin-free, Paraben-free and Phthalate-free!

Can I get my candle personalized?
