SCENT STORY

The worn vintage leather of his favorite armchair, aromatic tobacco laced with a hint of clove and vanilla from the pipes of the neighborhood men, and the smell of ambery incense that recalls his many visits to churches in Mexico. A dramatic heart of heady jasmine and a warm background of resinous sandalwood round out this deeply personal blend that perfectly evokes Langston Hughes, a true Renaissance man.

HOW TO USE

This reed diffuser set will fragrance your space for 6-8 months with regular reed turns to refresh the fragrance. It includes our custom colored glass apothecary bottle filled with 8 ounces of fragrance oil and 8 high absorbency rattan reeds.

Insert reeds into the bottle with the fragrance oil. Reeds will absorb oil and diffuse fragrance into the room. Allow 24 hours for the fragrance to diffuse. Flip diffuser reeds periodically. Do not allow oil to contact fabrics or finished surfaces.

Our 4 fluid oz Langston Reed Diffuser with blue glass and reeds placed in diffuser glass sitting next to its decorative box with a white background.

The Muse

Inspired by Langston Hughes

Langston Hughes gave Harlem its voice. His poems carried the rhythm of jazz and the soul of everyday life, speaking to dreams, struggles, and hope. Through his words, he captured what it meant to live, to love, and to believe in something bigger.
